Making Systems Work for Real People
I work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, research, and education. My current work focuses on artificial intelligence, health literacy, research informatics, and helping organizations adopt technology in ways that are practical, accessible, and human-centered.
As a health informatics professional, I help bridge the gap between complex systems and the people who depend on them. My work focuses on making technology more understandable, accessible, and useful for researchers, clinicians, patients, and communities.
I am particularly interested in artificial intelligence, digital health, health literacy, technology adoption, and human-centered design.
My goal is simple:
Technology should work for people—not the other way around.
Why This Matters
I was the first person in my family to graduate from college.
Growing up in a working-class family taught me that intelligence comes in many forms—and that many systems are designed without considering the people expected to use them.
That perspective continues to guide my work today.
Whether I am working with researchers, clinicians, patients, or community members, I believe that the best technology is technology that people can actually understand and use.
